Tinder · Product + lifecycle
I built reasons to open Tinder right now.
My work at Tinder sat between product and lifecycle: LiveOps experiences built for right now, without waiting for a client release, and targeted campaigns that brought the right people back at the right moment.
01 · Vibes
A global product built to last two days.
Vibes matched people through their answers to fun, timely questions. I built it on Tinder's custom LiveOps platform, so we could control the theme, prompts, art, and timing without a client release.
Every edition had a shelf life. New Year's Vibes asked about resolutions, ran globally for two days, then got out of the way.

02 · Swipe Surge · LiveOps
Make tonight's intent visible.
Swipe Surge was another LiveOps experience we could launch without a client release. It stayed deliberately light: pick what you were down to do, choose up to three emoji, and add the signal to your profile for the night.
It said more without asking someone to rewrite a bio. The state disappeared because the answer was about tonight, not who someone had to be forever.

03 · Boost
Put the offer in the right moment.
I built BOGO and holiday Boost campaigns around one rule: the offer should match the person and the moment.
Machine-learning targeting helped find the people most likely to respond. From there, each campaign needed one timely reason, one clear offer, and a direct path to action inside the product.

The email work
A couple made it out of the archive.
Really Good Emails featured two emails I made at Tinder. They're a small slice of the lifecycle work, but a nice one to still have in the wild.
